James, a Toronto native, has extensive international background in luxury and customer service which is perfectly aligned with Sotheby’s International Realty Canada’s commitment to providing a world class real estate experience. 

After spending 20 Years in the Washington DC/Northern Virginia area with his wife Beth and their 2 children, James has established a 25 year track record of incredible achievements. Prior to joining Sotheby’s, James founded a very profitable real estate investment company (B.G.J. Inc), was Vice President with Holt Renfrew and continued successes with other Luxury Brands (Nordstrom 16 Years, Peter Millar 3 years). These experiences allow James to expertly assist discerning luxury customers while creating solutions for their specific needs and wants. James is a future-focused business strategist with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions that consistently increase customer returns. 

James has been active in the Toronto community since his return, coaching Rep Basketball and participated in his children’s schools (Bishop Strachan School and Crescent School). James enjoys playing golf, travelling and is a huge fan of the Raptors, Leafs and the Blue Jays.
